Ruimte 13 Amsterdam is a fully equipped rental studio in the
northern part of Amsterdam. The studio is located on the IJ,
the Amsterdam waterfront, in the former ‘Verschuuren’
shipyard opposite Java Island and Central Station.

Ruimte 13 is ideal for photography, film and video shoots as well
as meetings, casting sessions and workshops. The shooting area
and mezzanine add up to 160 sq. metres (480 sq. feet). An up-and
over door ensures easy access to the studio floor. Other facilities
include a simple kitchen, a meeting room with conference table,
a make up/dressing room with pantry, a film-changing room and
a flexible office space with wireless internet connection.

Ruimte 13 is easy to reach from any direction and is situated at the
end of the first exit (Noord) after the IJ tunnel. From pier 8 in front of Central Station there is a small foot-passenger ferry that will drop
you at a stop in front of the studio building.
A further plus is the availability of off street parking in the complex grounds as well as free on-street parking.

Over the last couple of years the north of Amsterdam has developed rapidly into one of the city’s creative hotspots. The complex in which Ruimte 13 is located is full of creative companies, from carpenters
and architects to graphic designers and visual artists.
About 10 minutes from the studio you’ll also find a full-service
photo lab and, last but not least, the centre of Amsterdam.
